PADI Dive Courses of Bohol Sherwood Bay Resort

The Bubblemaker Program

introduces scuba as an activity that allows kids to experience the underwater world. Under close supervision, participants swim around on scuba in hallow confined water-just playing. The Bubblemaker program appears much the same as Discover Scuba Dive (in pool or confined open water in pool-like condition). This program is for 8 year olds and older in pool or pool like conditions in open water. (Maximum depth is 2 meters/6 feet)

Discover Scuba

introduces potential divers, 10 years of age and older, to breathing under water. With minimal explanation, new divers begin using scuba equipment and experience a shallow dive, in a pool or confined open water in pool-like condition under supervision. Discover Scuba allows them to complete Confined Water Dive One from the Open Water Course) as part of the experience. Participants can earn credit toward these courses. (Maximum depth is 6 meters/20 feet)

Discover Scuba Dive

introduces potential divers, 10 years of age and older. This experience quickly moves people into the open water environment. After straight forward “knowledge” and “skill development” sessions in confined water, participants can dive at the local dive sites. Discover Scuba Diving also links directly to the Open Water Dive Course. Those who have completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience earn credit toward Confined Water Dive One and Open Water Dive One. (Maximum Depth is 12 meters/40 feet)

Scuba Diver Course

from 15 years of age, which must be reached by the end of the course to qualify. This is a subcourse within the Open Water Diver Course that teaches student divers the foundational knowledge and skills they need to dive, under the supervision of certified PADI professional. (Max Depth is 12 meters/40feet)

Minimum Open Water Training : 2 sessions over 1day.
 

Open Water Dive Course

15 years of age, which must be reached by the end of the course to qualify. This teaches student divers the foundational knowledge and skills they need to dive with a buddy or independently while applying the knowledge and skills they learn in this course. The Open Water Dive Course consists of 3 segments : Confined water dives, knowledge development, and open water dives. (Max Depth is 18meters/60feet)

Minimum Open Water Training : 4 sessions over 3days.


Junior Scuba Diver / Junior Open Water Diver Course

these Certifications are open to student divers under the age of 15. Individual must be at least 10 years old prior to the start date of the course. Junior Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water Diver is qualified to dive only when accompanied by other certified diver who is of legal age. This teaches student divers the foundational knowledge and skills they need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. Junior Scuba Diver / Junior Open Water Diver Course consist of 3 segments: Confined water dives, knowledge development and open water dives. (Max Depth is 12meters/40feet)

Adventure in Diving Course

is based on the premise that diving is a means to explore other interests. This program allows student divers to customize their training path and learn various underwater tasks that broaden their awareness of the environment and their capabilities as divers. A diver needs to complete 3 Adventure Dives from Specialties, pls take a look at the chart below.

15 years of age or older to participate in all Adventure Dives. (Max Depth is 30meters/100feet)

Minimum Open Water Training : 3 sessions over 1day.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course

a diver needs to complete Underwater Navigation and Deep Adventure Dives and 3 other Adventure Dives decided on between the diver & instructor. 15 years of age or older to participate in all Adventure Dives. (Max Depth is 30meters/100feet)


Minimum Open Water Training : 5 sessions over 2 days.

Junior Adventure

Diver / Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Course, these Certifications are open to student divers under the age of 15. Individual must be at least 12 years old prior to the start date of the course. (Max Depth is 21meters/70feet)

Rescue Diver Course

teaches a flexible, conceptual approach to performing rescues as environmental factors dictate what rescue technique may be most effective. Student divers learn to first think about the options available for handling an emergency, then to act using the best method for the situation. You will hear that the PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most challenging and rewarding courses you can complete as a diver. 15 years of age or older to participate in this course.



Minimum Open Water Training : 5 sessions over 2 days.

Junior Rescue Diver Course

12 years of age.

 

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (first aid) Courses

teach you how to deal with both life threating and non life threating medical emergencies. This unique course structure allows flexible learning on your own time and practical, hands-on training with a qualified instructor. No age limit


Your instructor may conduct these courses separately or together : more or less full day of learning

Divemaster Course

expands the problem solving skills developed by the PADI Rescue Diver program, and expands it from accident management and prevention scenarios to supervisory situations with student divers and certified divers. At the Divemaster level, problem solving emphasizes looking for many possible solutions under the circumstances and choosing the best of several. Divemaster problem solving may include more than safety-related issues, and include handing customer service, business and operational challenges. This course will lead the candidates individually toward their personal goals as dive professionals. Individual must be at least 18 years old at the start of PADI Divemaster training.


Minimum Training 3 weeks.
